This category covers expansions, mods, and add-ons that improve, replace or add extra scenery areas to your copy of X-Plane 11 (or XP11 as it's know in the community).

Covered here are small airfields that the developers may have missed out of the default release because of development resource limits all the way up to large international airports that are already included but provide a better, more accurate and detailed representation of them.
Also included are highly detailed photoreal packages that replace the stock ground terrain with real photographic images from satellite data. These files are usually very large and may take a long time to download on a standard Internet connection. Having said that, the wait is worth it because the level of detail is stunning and once you've used photoreal you won't go back to the default.
Freeware X-plane Scenery
Adding these files is a great way to expand upon the default installation. All of the files are compatible with any platform that runs X-Plane. If you are already running X-Plane 11 on your platform then these files will work without issue - they are universal.
Grand Canyon HD Photoreal. A complete package for X-Plane 11 bringing HD photoreal scenery covering the entire Grand Canyon area. The Grand Canyon is a super-fun place to take to the skies over within XP11 - with mountainous terrain to cliff edges and rivers that cut through valleys - you can find true to life scenery with this pack. The OpenSceneryX project is a free to use library of scenery objects for X-Plane®. It is a collaborative effort by members of the X-Plane.org community, providing a good range of high quality scenery components for authors to use in their scenery packages. Installation is easy and can usually be achieved with an unzip and simple drag-drop into your X-Plane folders. Most (if not all) of the files come with detailed installation instructions.

X-Plane Users
On this web site you can find and download scenery submissions made by our artists and evaluated by a moderator.You can download any approved airport, but only moderator-recommended airports will be included in X-Plane updates.
Scenery Artists
Scenery must be constructed in the latest version of WorldEditor (WED) using only Laminar Research objects. Scenery submissions are made to this site directly from WED using the 'Export to Airport Scenery Gateway' option.
Every effort is made to ensure airport submissions on this site are error free, use only Laminar Research components,and can be used with a standard installation of the latest version of X-Plane.
If you find a problem with a scenery pack, we encourage you to report a bug.
Voyager® minimizes interference with tow vehicle electrical systems, uses a four wire hook up, has a broad setting range and is compatible with most any vehicle. It is compact size and features, like a bicolored LED brake monitor (to assure a complete connection to trailer brakes and give an indication of relative braking power being applied) make the Voyager® extremely versatile. Broad control range makes setting quick and easy.
Gateway artist Jan Vogel (LitJan) has created a video tutorial series that is a great resource for scenery artists of all experience levels. His WED tutorial on troubleshooting rejected scenery submissions may help if your airport submission was rejected because it was not based on the recommended scenery pack ID.
